Ship in the Bottle – Jupiter Coyote
I have loved this song since recording John Felty singing it with Jupiter Coyote on their first record at Johnny’s. I always had a special affinity for this band, maybe because we both started out at Johnny’s on our careers about the same time. Regardless, I love these guys and penned a couple of tunes with them, including Crazy Women and Flight of the Lorax. We spent a zillion hours after Johnny would crash, working on guitar parts and vocals, and I learned a ton about making records with those guys.
